Choosing a therapist is the most important aspect to having a positive outcome in counseling. Of the various research done on success in psychotherapy, having a therapist with whom you feel comfortable is the most important factor. This comfort primarily relates to feeling understood.
The counselors at Front Range Counseling Center (FRCC) provide the highest standards of professional service and will remain professional, respectful, non-judgmental, active, positive, and empathetic.
The counselors of FRCC are committed to creating a comfortable and secure clinical environment, so the client can proceed through his or her personal treatment plan with dignity, privacy, and confidence.
Please be aware that the therapists of FRCC are each independent mental health professionals, with their own private practices. While FRCC has carefully selected each counselor, they are not employees of FRCC but rather are independent counseling businesses.

She is a Nationally Certified Counselor and holds certifications in Couples Communication and Prepare/Enrich programs.
Claudette’s focus in counseling is to strengthen the family, which she believes is the cornerstone of our society. Her approach with couples is to help them to understand that conflicts are often driven by a negative cycle fueled by their emotions. Her goal in counseling is that couples will learn to interact differently and understand their destructive emotional responses.
Claudette enjoys teaching and believes the counseling process involves learning new skills. Her hope is that couples will focus on their relationship first and then learn to improve their home and family life. To help with this process, Claudette offers workshops on several aspects of family life such as parenting, teen relationships, meal planning and nutrition. Groups are also available for couples counseling and post-abortion healing. Groups last about eight to ten weeks.
Claudette has been married for 27 years and has five children. She has taught middle school and high school but now focuses on counseling. In her spare time she enjoys being with her family, sewing, refinishing furniture, and walks on the High Line Canal.
